Thoughts:
Graham (MMC) is divorced, single, and his adult son has moved away feeling he needs something "more" in his life he goes to the adult club his best friend's daughters run. Maybe the things offered at this club is exactly what he needs in his life.
Blair (FMC) is smart, beautiful and not afraid to say what she wants... Graham finds himself drawn to her and even though he knows he shouldn't he can't stop himself from going to her... but due to multiple things (age gap, she is his best friend's daughter) naturally their relationship has to be hidden.
This took me a bit to get into and the first 25% of the book probably felt to me like an instruction manual/listening to a text book for how the club is run and lessons on play in the bedroom.
Once I got past that part I did start to get into the book and the relationship between our couple was always sweet, caring and sizzling.
For me at times it felt like the spice was overpowering the plot, and I thought more time would be spent at the club since he did end up joining and they had rooms for "activities" there but there wasn't much in the way of that just mentions of Blair going to work and teaching a class.
I got more used to the chapters with the podcast and found them a good addition to the book.
Naturally we as the readers wonder how long they will be sneaking around before they are found out... and the longer they are sneaking around the worse it will be since he does work with his best friend. Will anyone be happy that they are together? Will they ever be able to truly be happy together in public with everyone knowing?
I liked that our lead characters had good communication throughout the book.
Narrators Ilona Sterling and Xander Marcaeus did a great job bringing these characters to life.
Over all this was a good start to this series and I was rooting for the lead characters to have a happily ever after!
